Our Mindfulness Journal is designed to help you live in the present moment, getting outside of your auto-pilot, and become more aware of your patterns.
Being mindful is about being aware – of our thoughts, our emotions, and our actions. Approximately 95 percent of our daily actions are completed while on autopilot. It is wise to think about why and how we do what we do. Why do we react to upsetting situations in a certain way? Why do we cope with anger or sadness in a certain way? Mindfulness is a great way to observe ourselves and to recognize both the healthy and unhealthy patterns we’ve adopted, sometimes without fully realizing it. Through mindfulness, we can come to realize that if we want to improve our lives, we need to change some of those patterns. We rarely pay attention to our habits and patterns. Oftentimes, they’re brought to our attention when we are confronted with differences. This is why we created this Mindfulness journal - to help you become more mindful in your daily life.
Mindfulness leads to a greater power to make positive changes and influence outcomes. Power to experience a deeper level of fulfillment and joy. Power to be more authentically expressive. Power to create and choose. There are likely aspects of your life about which you are very conscious. It could be your health, relationship, finances, or your environment. But because there are so many aspects of life, there are probably a few areas that you’ve paid less attention to. When we lack consciousness, we live our lives based on conditioned habits and impulses. But some of these patterns may not serve our highest potential and happiness. By clearing the clutter, we can make room for the most important aspects of life: health, relationships, passion, growth. Living mindfully is about taking control of your life, thinking about your decisions rather than thoughtlessly making them, and creating a life that you want, rather than settling for the one that just happens to you.
