For returning students, this is your next step. It's a chance to go deeper, strengthen what you’ve started, and learn how to stay on your path with more clarity, consistency, and ease.
For new students, this is your beginning. You’ll be gently guided through the foundational tools from Level 1, so you can quickly get up to speed and fully participate in the experience.
Because this isn’t a traditional course. It’s a lab.
You bring something that matters to you - a project, a direction, a desire for change - and over the next 3 months, you learn how to move it forward in a way that feels aligned, intentional, and sustainable.
You’ll learn how to:
- quiet the noise of your mind
- make decisions from clarity instead of pressure
- release patterns that hold you back
- and take consistent action without perfectionism
But more than that, you’ll learn how to trust yourself because staying on your path isn’t about discipline alone. It’s about building the inner foundation that supports you especially when things feel uncertain.
Over these next 3 months, you won’t just make progress on your project. You’ll become someone who knows how to move forward again and again.
The Lab is led by Dr. Rebecca Kochenderfer, PhD, author of Mindful Living Made Easy, and is designed to be a space where you can pause, reflect, realign, and intentionally set the direction for what comes next.

Session #1: The New Science of Meditation
(The Brain Change Breakthrough)
We begin by strengthening the most important foundation for life design: your mind. In this session, you’ll learn a modern, science-backed approach to meditation - one that is simple, practical, and designed for real life. You’ll discover how to quiet mental noise, reduce stress, and access a calmer, clearer state of awareness.
This isn’t about escaping your thoughts. It’s about learning how to no longer be controlled by them.
Over the following two weeks, you’ll build a daily practice that helps you return to clarity, so you can design your life from presence, not pressure.

Session #2: Living by Design, Not Defaut

This is where you fully step into being a Life Designer. Instead of reacting to life or chasing goals that may not truly fit, you’ll learn four powerful questions that guide you back to what is aligned, intentional, and deeply right for you.
This session helps you move beyond external expectations and into inner clarity.
Over the next two weeks, you’ll apply these questions directly to your life and your project, creating momentum that feels purposeful, grounded, and sustainable.

Session #3: The Inner Access Lab
(Special Guest: Tapping or Dreams)
In this immersive session, you’ll learn how to access a deeper layer of your mind—where insight, intuition, and emotional release naturally live.
Through tapping or dreamwork, you’ll gain tools to:
- release resistance
- process emotions
- and receive guidance beyond your conscious thinking
This is where things begin to flow more easily - not because life changes, but because your relationship to it does.
Your two-week experiment will help you integrate this practice into your daily life—so you can move forward with greater ease, trust, and inner guidance.

In this session, you’ll learn how different parts of your brain influence how you think, feel, and act—and how to gently shift back into balance.
The Whole-Brain Reset gives you a simple, powerful way to return to:
- clarity
- creativity
- and emotional stability
Over the following two weeks, you’ll practice recognizing when you’re off-center—and how to bring yourself back. This is where resilience begins.

Session #5: The Momentum Method
(Just Move the Couch: Curing Perfectionism)
This is where real progress happens. Perfectionism often looks like high standards, but in reality, it keeps you stuck.
In this session, you’ll learn how to take consistent, meaningful action without pressure or burnout. The principle is simple: just move the couch. Small, imperfect steps create momentum, and momentum creates transformation.
Over the next two weeks, you’ll prove to yourself that progress doesn’t come from waiting until you’re ready. It comes from moving anyway.

Session #6: The Life Designer’s Code
(Mantras for Life Designers & Graduation)
In our final session, you’ll bring everything together. You’ll create your personal Life Designer’s Code - a set of guiding principles and mantras that anchor you in clarity, courage, and consistency. These become the inner voice you return to when life feels uncertain.
We’ll also take time to reflect, integrate, and celebrate:
- how far you’ve come
- what you’ve built
- and who you’ve become
You’ll leave with more than progress on your project. You’ll leave with a way of thinking, choosing, and living that you can carry with you long after the lab ends.
